Hello From America

HELLO FROM AMERICA!
Thank You!

We want to thank you for all you have done and for your faithful prayers and financial support. Because of your partnership, there is now a church in Palmela, Portugal! We hope you are encouraged and excited to have played a key part in making that possible.

Transition

Our return to the United States has involved working through reverse culture shock, buying a vehicle, getting Alaithia settled at university, figuring out health insurance, discerning where and how God would have us serve Him, and finding a place we can call home.

We have successfully navigated the first three items on that list. Alaithia began attending Liberty University this fall and seems to be settling in well. If you feel led to help with her school expenses, please send us an email.

Our Future

We are currently talking with a Bible translation ministry about serving in support roles, specifically in administration and information technology. Would you please pray with us as we seek God’s direction? We would also ask you to consider reserving your financial support for us through February while these plans take shape. If you are able to do that or have questions, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Regardless of whether or not we serve with the Bible translation ministry, we need to shut down our website, wearsportugal.com, along with its associated email addresses. Going forward, please contact us at wearsfamily@gmail.com or bellewears@gmail.com.

Some of you have expressed an interest in continuing to support us financially beyond September.

Contributions may be sent to:
Calvary Baptist Church
825 N. Cochran Ave
Charlotte, MI 48813

Please write “Wears” on the memo line.

Freelance Work

David has also been doing freelance work designing brand marks for ministries and secular business. If you or someone you know might be interested, please visit
wears.one or email him at david@wears.one.

Wish Lists

As many of you know, we have sold nearly everything we own—twice. We have put together wish lists for anyone who would like to help us replace some of the things we need or would enjoy having as we settle back into life in the United States. You can visit wears.one/amazon or wears.one/walmart. Items will be shipped to a friend’s business.

We Are Grateful For You

Thank you again for your love, prayers, encouragement, and faithful partnership over the years. We are deeply grateful for the part you have played in our ministry and in the establishment of a church in Palmela.
